1. Acceptance of Agreement
By using our website, submitting a service request, or completing an intake agreement, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services.
2. Nature of Services
Companions & Home Helpers provides non-medical, in-home companion care services to seniors and individuals with disabilities Companions & Home Helpers. 3. Service Limitations and Weather Policy
Emergency Medical Events: In the event of a medical emergency, our caregivers are instructed to immediately dial 911. We are not responsible for medical outcomes.
Severe Weather: In severe or adverse weather conditions, we may determine it is unsafe for our workers to travel SERVICE AGREEMENT. We will notify you as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule the SERVICE AGREEMENT.
4. Billing and Payments
Rates: Service rates are provided upon intake or via Companions & Home Helpers. We reserve the right to change our rates with at least 30 days’ written notice SERVICE AGREEMENT.
Invoices: Invoices are generated on a [Insert Schedule, e.g., weekly/bi-weekly] basis and are due within [Insert Number, e.g., 14] days of receipt. Late payments may result in the suspension of services.
5. Client Cancellations

6. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any Companions & Home Helpers employee or independent contractor for private, independent companion care services outside of our agency during the term of your service agreement and for a period of [Insert Time, e.g., 12] months following the termination of services. 7. Limitation of Liability
Companions & Home Helpers, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of, or in connection with, the services provided. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the preceding [Insert Time, e.g., 3] months.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time by providing [Insert Time, e.g., 14] days’ written notice. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if the client exhibits abusive/threatening behavior, fails to provide a safe working environment, or fails to make timely payments.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
