Live-In Care provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking assistance.

Live-In Caregiver Primary Duties

Help with daily bathing, dressing, grooming, dental care, and hygiene.
Guidance to and from the bathroom, plus toileting support.
Assistance moving between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and locations.
Help with walking and comfortable repositioning in beds or chairs.
Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs.
Manage grocery trips, pick up prescriptions, and handle household errands.
Drive the client to and from healthcare appointments.
Vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, wash dishes, and mop floors as needed.
Regularly wash clothes and change bed linens.
Remind the client of self-administered medications and prescribed exercises.
Monitor and report physical condition, behavior, and appetite to the CHH office.
Adherence to sanitation standards and use of safety devices.

Exclusions

Exclusions from Our Live-In Caregiver Services

To maintain compliance with non-medical care regulations, a live-in caregiver may not perform the following tasks:

Administer the client’s medications directly or track vitals.
Help the client with long and short-term financial planning.
Perform heavy tasks indoors or outdoors, such as moving furniture.
